Christmas gifting

Hello to dayI have a simple project that you can make to add to your Christmas crafting for friends and family. As its the 1st of the month its also a new challenge over at Country View Crafts where if chosen you can win a £20 gift card to spend in the incredible shop. Make sure you follow the rules though or else you will not be entered.

so here’s my ideas

So ive created a little gift bag and a girt tag but of course you can transfer these ideas to any gift packaging you need. So to start using Alycrograph pens by Archer and Olive I drew and coloured in some modern Christmas designs. If you feel you cannot draw then look up designs which are free to use as a reference. You can then copy or trace them, but do make sure that you aren’t breaking copyright laws, all sites will state what their images can be used for. More likely is to stamp your design and then paint or colour it with whatever supplies you have. Susan has loads of stamp design as well as supplies you could ever think of in the shop.

Once you have completed the design on your substrate take a very clear photo of it, as you will need to resize and print this off for the next part of your project.

I took mine into procreate where i was able to resize my image to the actual size of the substrates so i could experiment with what size to create the sentiment. Again you could use a stamp you have if it is the right size, but also be aware most stamp complanies do not allow digital manipulation of their stamps so yo would not be permitted to stamp, photograph and then resize as that might be breaking their angel policy.

Once I was happy with my sizing I printed it off. Now to make the badge I used a ‘We R Memory Keepers’ badge maker but there are many other ways to make the badge. I cut my badge to size then followed the procedure to make the badge.

Once these were completed added some washi tape to my tag and gift bag and then topped them with my badges.

Well that’s it folks, see you later in the month with more projects.

Hugs
