Christmas Gift box with Debs

Hi everyone, welcome to my second post for Country View Crafts November challenge where I share a gift box that can be used for small gifts at Christmas. Remember the challenge is Christmas gifting (no cards) so if you enter with a card it will be removed as it does not meet the criteria, plus new rules apply so make sure you those check out too.

So without further ado

So to make this here’s what you will need

Or some other way of making a box, there are many options out there but I like this board for its convenience. So cut my card 8’x8’ which gave me a 4×3.5 box.

Now here’s the fun part, I sprayed both the distress ink and oxide both in the new colour Villainous Potion (which I love)

Let’s look closer at that…

isn’t it lush?

I mopped some of the surplus onto tags which I had near by, and dried it off a little before adding some Mica stain in Flickering Candle

I let this completely dry and then using stickles in Super Nova (the new jars stickles with the chunkier bits in, photo at the top of this page) through one of my own Essentials Range stencils called Stars to add lots of sparkle. I died this and then added some splashes in white using Media Sprays

I completely let all this dry, before assembling my box and adding a ribbon.

To finish off i decided to create a matching tag.

So lets take another look at different angles

And finally a close up

And there we have it. I hope ive inspired you to play along, I would love to see what you make why not tag me on Instagram or Facebook. My links are in the header of my website. Take care for now and see all again soon.
